Glenlyn Academy realises that every student is different; we enable young performers to identify, develop and nurture their individual skills. The Academy believes it is important to remain close to your roots; to use traditional teaching and performing methods with a focus on technique while embracing contemporary ideas in the modern performing arts and commercial world.
My daughter has made friends of all ages and has grown in confidence and enjoys the variety of classes available. We love the shows – they are fantastic productions – which our daughter loves being a part of. Gaining the confidence to perform in front of people and control her nerves is a skill that she can apply in all walks of life as she grows up.

Glenlyn has been a place that I have loved being at for almost 7 years. Glenlyn is not just a school but is my home, a place where I have been able to build my talent, my self-esteem and my confidence. I have also made some incredibly close friends that have become like a family. I am grateful for the relentless support I have received from both staff and my peers. I couldn’t imagine going to any other school.
